Ok here it goes . . . So many emotions come with this. It has been a long journey of some of the highest highs to some of the lowest lows. I’m surrounded by an amazing group of women that push me everyday to be my best self but also push boundaries. I’ve been uncomfortable at times this season, which has given me growth in not only soccer but also within. Thank you to all of you that have made this possible. Lastly, to get an award that the supporters voted on means the world. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again... seeing a little girl/boy in the stands in awe of what we do melts my heart. We must pave the way for the younger generation and create standards for them to excel on. Secondly, to give them inspiration and show how everyone’s story on this team is different but we all have something in common, that is a hunger, drive and resilience to knock down any obstacle that stands before us. ACFC family, thank you all so much! Here’s to next year 😈
