On this app, I often find myself comparing myself (and my work) to others. It’s one of my greatest weaknesses and something I actively work on daily. This morning, while scrolling through some of my favorite trans womens pages, I started to dog myself. Thoughts of, “Why am I not as pretty as them?” and “How long will it take for me to be as passable as them?” entered my head. So I wanted to counteract those negative thoughts with something positive—a moment where I truly felt so beautiful and so authentically ME. To anyone out there struggling with their gender journey... Be BRAVE! Be BOLD! Be YOU! There is no one right way to transition, but you do only have one life to live—so live it the way you want! 💯🏳️‍⚧️
