Ways to ripen an avocado ASAP 🥑 1️⃣Brown bag it- Avocados ripen faster in a brown bag than just sitting out on your windowsill. Obvs won’t be guacamole-ready in 10mins, but it may be ready the next morning. 2️⃣Brown bag it with a banana– this speeds up the process. An apple works too. 3️⃣Wrap the avo in foil and place on a baking tray. Pop it in the oven at 200C for 10 mins, or until the avocado is soft. Remove it from the oven and allow to cool before cutting open. Does taste as good as a naturally ripened avo? No, but it doesn’t taste bad. Think of this technique as a good way to get avos ready for their supporting role in salsa, not their starring role in guac.
