Everything I Know About Love lands in America today on @peacocktv Here’s some of @louiseburrowsillustration amazing work for the series. We regularly collaborate in the early concept development stage of prep playing with colour combinations, details, silhouettes and line ups. It’s a process that always massively helps me start to realise the wardrobes. The series spans from 2001-2012 covering cultural movements such as Y2K, scripted reality to the more recently coined Indie Sleaze. Camden Town in 2012 was a unique period in fashion and clothing. It was the glory days of the high street collaboration and vintage shops and markets were strong. Synonymous items from the time included skinny jeans, Fred Perry polos, denim shorts over tights, All Saints biker jackets, cowboys boots, graphic tees, American Apparel disco pants and ballet pumps. With this series myself and assist design @jennifergeach1 aimed to create a homage to a millennials wardrobes with nostalgic items and stylings, some to remember fondly, some to leave in the past.
