Cedars, Waterfalls, Sunset at the Peak & Bonfire with Lebanon by Nature 📆 Date: SATURDAY August 27th, 2022 📍 Location: Hadath el Jebbeh to Tannourine, North Lebanon 💪🏻 Difficulty level: Moderate ⏱️ Hike distance: ~8Km (~6 hours including bonfire break) ⏫⏬ Elevation Gain/Loss: +350 / -330m 🕖 Bus departure time from Beirut (Hadath): 1:30pm 🕖 Bus expected return time to Beirut: ~11:59pm 📜 Description: Are you ready for some challenge this weekend? We will start our adventure from Hadath el Jebbeh in Bcharre heading into the beautiful cedar forest that enjoys a unique distinction among the oldest documented forests in history. During our trail, we will pass by gigantic cedar trees, apple trees, beautiful cedar tree passages, two waterfalls, a water spring, rocks with splendid views of the valley & the surrounding mountains of Tannourine, Hadath el Jebbeh and Chir el Ribazi. At nearly the end of our trail, once we reach the peak of the Chir el Ribazi, you will witness one of the most unique sunset sceneries ever. Get ready to shoot some really cool photos and stories (don’t forget to tag Lebanon_by_nature for a repost).
