Monday Motivation! ⏬⏬ from our Ambassador @brandonmessingerhair...read on ⏬⏬ When I think of my life and how far I've come I can't help but feel bitter sweet emotions. For the longest time I didn't take hairdressing seriously at all! I was no where near my current skill level. I've suffered from depression and anxiety for years. For a long time I've felt like my life was one big series of unfortunate events. While still not where I'd ideally like to be... I'm working on it. Which made me think of my hairdressing journey. Years ago I made a conscious decision to really apply myself and retrain myself. I was very strict. For years I would come home after work and do hair! Till 2,3 sometimes 4am, on days off I would attend courses and assist. I would never complete a look if I knew I was the slightest bit out or off. I'd stop take it all down and start over. It's this discipline I fell in love with. It's this discipline I find so calming. Human beings are amazing. You might not like where you are. But with a little hard work, dedication and determination you can achieve anything you set your mind to!
