As a child I wanted to be a cowboy. I was a little french boy and the cowboy was the ultimate hero. I don’t know if you noticed but when you go anywhere in the world and you ask about America... people will tell you “oh yeah, cowboys!” Although it sounds like a cliché, there is an universal evidence behind that which is that so far, the figure of the Cowboy and the Native are two of the strongest iconography America has ever deliver to the world. ( and Elvis Presley of course ..and maybe more I know!!! 😂😂 ) Now to go back to this new painting, this is a depiction of @oconnor_clan and @lakotabeauellis going about their day. Rounding cattle, riding the range, searching for mavericks... And during the month of summer, sometimes in the evening, the air get charged with a magnetic force and the thunderheads are taking over the mighty sky. This is pure magic and it never gets old.
