Flapping from improper anchoring may be noticed immediately, but it is especially noticeable after shampooing + during grow out. AFTER you’ve placed 3 whip stitches in the weft, begin anchoring in the first POCKET. To do the first anchor, (or top anchor, whichever name suits you) Take the needle down through the pocket. Then push the needle through the back of the weft around the same point as the nearest whip stitch + pull the thread all the way through the weft securing the weft down. Next take the needle UP through the same pocket. Pull the thread through the POCKET while positioning the it to the SIDE of the weft -creating a horizontal stitch. Then push the needle through the back of the weft near the same spot, of the weft where the first anchor sits. Once 2 anchors are placed check the corner to see that it’s secure. If there is any slack an additional anchor may be needed. PLEASE tell me in comments, one thing this video or caption will have you doing different.
