I am incredibly grateful for this program and for the past six years I’ve been a part of it. From junior high to senior year, speech has become such a special part of my life. I had no idea that this activity would do so much for me. Speech has allowed me to share messages that matter to me, to communicate thoughts and ideas I believe are important, and to connect with others through the power of words. Not only did I have personal benefits from this program but I also got to watch the people I care about succeed as well. I cannot express enough how thankful I am for all of the people who've supported me, and my coaches who have helped me grow. I'm so proud to say I have qualified for state all four years of high school and although I ultimately did not finish my senior year placing at the state level, I'm proud of the reputation I’ve built, the relationships I’ve forged, and the dedication I’ve put into each of my programs.
