It’s toy rotation day aka declutter day I’ve spent 3 hours today sanitizing Sybil’s old toys before I box them and sanitizing the new to us toys (gently used) as part of an effort to declutter. It’s also part of rotating toys so kids don’t get bored. Yup, I’ve reached this stage in parenting. Lately I’ve noticed her boredom especially when my husband or I are cooking. I find myself a little triggered with her whines so I’m hoping this will help a little. I’ll keep y’all posted if it’s like Christmas in August or just another day. This post is also a reminder of the #mentalloadofmotherhood It was my idea to rotate toys after some quick research. I then asked my husband to rotate and declutter Sybil’s bath toys. Is it annoying that I had to ask? Yes, but at least I asked for the help, got something off my to-do list and now I get some relaxation time.
