As I’m sitting here crying in my bed for the past 30 minutes watching all these stories and reading all these articles im just left here thinking why... the school could have helped.... Why kids have to be so mean they push a 12 year old to take her own life? I wish I could have met her & talked to her about how amazing she is & how special & beautiful having alopecia is. I wish I could turn back the clock but unfortunately I can’t so instead I’m going to say teach your kids to be be better please. PLEASE Teach your children & friends & family that different is beautiful & anyway someone looks you should love them for who they are. Teach them that words are as sharp as knifes and to be so careful about what they say to others. We as a society need to be better at being nicer to everyone around us. Differences make us beautiful, unique, and one of a kind. Rio deserves more! She deserves more recognition! She deserves the school bored to step up about how they didn’t help her!
