At a glance 'Don't Buy Mi!' looks like an abandoned shop. However, on closer inspection, it doesn't quite add up. The signage is inverted, the stock is upside-down and there is a hammy, theatricality to the dereliction. I want there to be an uncertainty to the experience, where you are drawn in out of curiosity and forced to respond to the environment before you know that what you are looking at it is 'art'.⁠ ⁠ The work is on display at 139 Perth High Street⁠ until the end of January!
