For me it all started 7 years go- I hit an emotional rock bottom (one of many!) I got dumped and my mum died on the same day. Even though the guy I was dating was an utter waste of space his timing was pretty crap. I was unhappy in my career. I was depressed. I was not sure of what I wanted to do... But working out everyday helped me through my grief. Some days I could only do 5 minutes, and others less than that. But every day I put my gym kit on and started to work out. I followed a fitness plan and worked through the exercises each day. There was a sense of comfort when I finally felt good enough to do complete a WHOLE workout and tick off every exercise 😍 Recent events may have triggered deep feelings in many of you. I know it did for me. For those of you who are not exercising regularly yet, especially with all the midlife changes going on,I cannot recommend working out enough. Science shows that in a addition to the physical benefits (like reducing hot flushes in midlife), regular exercise can improve things like relationships and our psychological state.
