Prior to 8 months ago, I never swung a golf club in my life. I decided to get some lessons. Thanks to @stephenmalbon for connecting me with my/our coach @rdbgolftips who has been a god send. I knew it was a tough game, but had no idea it was gonna make me become Ben HUMBLE 😩. Well as most of you know, I got the golf bug BAD! I practice 5-7x a week and play a round at least once a week. Today was my first time playing with my coach and I shot an 88 at the very tough @angelesnationalgolfclub where I’m hosting my @washedlordinvitational tourney next year. It’s been a wild 8 months indeed. Thank you @georgelopez for getting me into golf. Thank you @the_stranger for getting me right! And especially to @taylormadegolf for the incredible support and sponsorship 🙏🏽. Yeah yeah. My elbow isn’t straight blah blah. I love this game. I’m having fun. The quest for 70’s is on! Hitting birdies on par 5’s and 30 foot putts off the rough make me come back after a shitty round. But that first Hole In One 6 weeks ago was a better feeling than getting my first dunk in any HS/College game or any touchdown I scored in college.
