An afternoon at Dumbarton Oaks in DC with Deb. 16 acres of tiered “secret gardens”. Dozens and dozens of private, quiet spaces each with different decorative floral themes. It was like a fairy tale. These pictures barely scratch the surface. And the sound of the wind and birds?! So peaceful, hidden right in Georgetown. Our favorite garden we’ve ever toured is Butchart Gardens in Victoria, BC.
