Recently I have been learning from the book that I read 📚 letting go of people that show you a lack of interest and respect is the healthiest for the self. If someone or some thing has turned into that overly used term "Toxic" or cruel towards you in whatever way (cruelty can show its form in many ways so be warned) then surgically cut them out of your life. See yourself as a person of high value. Do no chase work & do not chase people. Since October I have been doing this and thus far the results are incredible. A great sense of self worth and self respect returns. If those people that you contact and give attention to do not return it in kind .... walk away. There is always time for people to connect with you, companies to get back to you, models to reply or make time (i speak not just as a photographer but in what ever field you are or personal life) if excuses arise then equally show no interest. Walk away. Again, do you want to see yourself as a person of high value or not? This isn't arrogance but a knowing of your true potential, ability and worth! Sorry if the text is long but after months of reading 📚 I think why not share something that might help just one person. Because Time is always fading and you will not get it back, tomorrow might even be the last time in your life you see a sunset. So use your energy wisely and realise how amazing you are. 😘 As for me, I can say that after so many years I am calm 😌 and very excited about the future good or bad...forge ahead!
