Final bell. And boy. This bell has been used countless times to ring in lunch time for our team, and yesterday it rang a final time in our Camberwell studio, to mark our official departure. After 10 years in this space, it has been a very intense and emotional few weeks of archiving, packing, sorting, moving, and humping. It’s seen 4 x 7.5ton lorry loads, and 7 Luton’s - but we did it. It’s the start of a new chapter for the studio which will be taking up residence at our farm in Shropshire. Lots more to follow. The catalyst for the move is that our landlords have sold the site to developers to turn into flats- again and again when will London learn that it needs messy spaces for artists and creatives to keep things spicy. It’s impossible to name all the wonderful people who’ve been part of and shaped our time in this space - and sorry we didn’t have time for a final party!
