We just celebrated our friend the NYC legendary chef #AndreSoltner 90th birthday @restaurantdaniel . We were among his long time colleagues, family and New York chefs including some #NYC🇫🇷 #GOAT like the famous #jeanjacquesrachou and #jacquescoustard of #lacotebasque and chef #christiandelouvrier #leMaurice and the famous upper east side pastry chef #mauricebontè . André was the chef/owner of #lutece for more than 40 years and when i arrived in NY in the early 80s for many years he was the #1 restaurant by @zagat and 4 stars @nytimes .his restaurant was the quintessential french dining destination in America #🇫🇷🗽🇺🇸 I want to thanks André ‘s fellow #alsacien @gabrielkreuther for preparing the delicious beer soup #soupedesbrasseurs and the team @restaurantdaniel @lerouxeddy @romain_paumier and @shvelez for the festive menu and @jacquestorres for his chocolates contribution and the chocolate portrait for the cake 🎂🇫🇷🙏🍾👏
