The workshop offers a movement investigation for scenic artists or any person with a curiosity for movement. Those who are interested may have experience taking movement classes or just have the desire to explore movement. About Los Little Guys: Los Little Guys is a project based in Mexico City created by Erik Elizondo and Dimitri Kalaitzidis at the end of 2017. Since its foundation, the project has been involved in residencies, creations and presentations of their own and collaborative work, and have offered classes and workshops throughout North America,South America, Europe and Asia. Primarily utilizing improvisation as a form of movement creation, the motivation behind their work is to continually find forms to re-educate the body through the interaction between physical and imaginative spaces. The name “los little guys” was conceived through the desire not to conform to common structures of contemporary dance which idolize big and strong bodies, and to always allow playfulness to be a part of the practice.
