🔗 🌴 in B I O Happy Halloween 👻🎃👻 I know I’m a bit old to be Trick or Treating, but I’m hoping a few of you will understand. I am reaching out to you to ask for a different type of treat this year. Over the course of the last 4 weeks I have had 8 dogs dumped at our ranch that are in need of a new home. Maybe that new home could be with you 😉. All are super friendly, playful and have shown great potential to be a wonderful family ranch dog 🐶. They range in age from 4 month old puppies to 5-6 yrs old, all but one are still intact and are in need of spaying/neutering. As many of you know, my experience and resources are in the horse world. Taking in horses is no problem, dogs on the other hand has been a challenge. I have reached out to close to 50 different rescues and they all share the same story, they are overwhelmed with strays and can not help. Even our local shelters are turning animals away 😞 I have found 2 rescues that have agreed to take some of the older dogs but to do so they need to be fixed. Local and neighboring low costs spay/neuter clinics have a wait list of 4-6 months, I have found a vet that will work with me on costs but I am still looking at over $1200 to get everyone taken. These kids can also put down some food. We are currently going through 50lbs of dog food a week.
