Today is my 40th birthday. For me, it’s just another day. Another day to be thankful. Throughout the weekend, I spent time researching how I can support Ukraine in this time, specifically the fight effort. War is complex and it’s important to fact check and do your own research when possible. I came across a story yesterday of a 6-year old girl who was mortally wounded from a Russian shelling attack. The images of her mommy weeping and her daddy standing by his little girl’s lifeless body brought me to tears. This is when I knew what organization to support and to do it now. Save the Children believes that children have the right to grow up healthy, educated, and safe. They’ve delivered essential humanitarian aide to children and families in Afghanistan, Syria, Africa, many other countries, and now Ukraine. They are on the ground right now. We are doubling every dollar donated to @savethechildren up to $20,000. Our hope is to raise a total contribution of $40,000.
