The Corpse Bride 🦋 Palette 6 of #13PalettesofHalloween It’s time for a palette inspired by my faaaaaavorite Tim Burton movie: The Corpse Bride!!! 💙 It’s been such a treat seeing The Corpse Bride get more love (and merch 💸) these past few years! While I do love Nightmare Before Christmas, my first and true love when it comes to Tim Burton films is defo The Corpse Bride (maybe tied with Edward Scissorhands. But definitely my favorite animated film by him.) I just love me some good blue cinematography 😂 And anything set in the Victorian era 😍 It might sound counterintuitive, but I think my love for the movie is what initially prevented me from using this Corpse Bride collection when Makeup Revolution first released it 🥴 I had a lot of ideas for looks but was nervous about “messing up” the looks, or even the products themselves. But now that I’ve learned and experimented and grown more as a makeup person, I’m totally in love with the look I finally put together! So on the one hand, I’m a little embarrassed it took me a year to work up the courage to dive into this collection, but on the other hand I’m glad I finally buckled down and tried it at the skill level I’m at now.
