As a youth the only thing that mattered besides AC GREEN , MAGIC JOHNSON & JIMMY SUPERFLY SNUKA, was the pair of AIRWALKS or PRO-WINGS and my Mini Gator... The fascination in where Christian Hosoi @christianhosoi and Steve Caballero @stevecaballero were IDOLS .... The days at home where you spend your time watching on repeat “Gleaming in the cube” , Playing T&C Surf / Skate or Die and when lucky enough to go to the Arcade and using all the quarters on 720... Fast-Forward to the Late 90’s where mixed martial arts and jiu-jitsu are at the top of the mind and taking over everyday life.... Two things that are always common in any grappling/mma gym around the world at anytime is a textured/ non textured vinyl mat to roll on and a woven kimono uniform to train in..... This new balance shoe brings in some subtle elements of those two materials that we hold dear to our heart in our sport and martial art.
