We are thrilled to celebrate the introduction of our newest cork collection, Clover, this week at Colony in New York. The collection is a further exploration of one of the most inspiring natural materials we have had the privilege to work with. Through this new work, we introduce the use of dark brown cork which we began to explore this past year through a special client project. Dark brown cork is achieved through a toasting process, allowing us to use cork that is discolored or otherwise unusable. This process not only eliminates a potential waste material, but it does so while adding value through its rich chocolate coloration. The collection consists of four distinct tables that can be realized in all natural, dark brown or a graphic mix of the two colors. Each piece has been designed in a standard size with component adaptability allowing for client customization without creating too much waste in the form of off-cuts.
