On the eve of inauguration, I just want to say thank you to all Marylanders. Those that supported us in this election, and those who did not. To those that voted for @arunamiller and me, thank you for your belief. For those who did not, thank you for the space to earn your support in the future. I am humbled and honored by the opportunity to be the governor that all Marylanders deserve, and to work with each and every one of you to build a state where all Marylanders are seen and supported. We are going to work hard and we are going to push to be better every single day. We might not agree on all things at all times, that is OK and expected, but my promise to you is that every single one of you will have my ear and will have my heart. We will lead with love, and we will lead with urgency. And our aspirations will always be collective and not individual. Together, we will rise. We are committed to making this Maryland’s decade, and if we commit to doing it together, nothing can stop us. And together, we will win. I am excited to be your governor in Maryland’s moment.
