In this fast-paced world, it’s easy to become frustrated when things don’t happen as quickly as we’d like. We pray, we plan, and we work hard, yet sometimes, it seems like God is taking His time. But the truth is, God’s timing is perfect, and His plans are always for our good. Imagine a gardener planting seeds. He knows that no matter how much he waters, tends, and cares for them, the seeds will only sprout in their season. Trying to rush the process would ruin the harvest. Similarly, God is the Master Gardener of our lives. He is carefully preparing us for what’s to come, even if it takes longer than we expect. When we rush ahead of God’s timing, we risk missing out on the fullness of His blessings. Consider the story of David, who was anointed as king long before he took the throne. During those years of waiting, God was preparing David, shaping his character, and strengthening his faith. If David had rushed to claim the throne, he might not have been ready to lead with the wisdom and grace that God intended. In our own lives, waiting can be one of the hardest things to do. But it’s in the waiting that God refines us, teaches us patience, and draws us closer to Him. It’s during these times that our trust in Him is tested and strengthened. When we surrender our timelines to God, we allow Him to work in ways that we could never imagine. So, instead of trying to rush what God is taking time to prepare, let’s learn to rest in His timing. Trust that He is working behind the scenes, aligning everything according to His perfect plan. The wait may be long, but the fruit that comes from patience and faith is always worth it.
