Kendrick Lamar performed lust last night headlining Glastonbury. That vocal recording is me at 17 years old in my parents kitchen at probably about 2am trying not to make too much noise. I had no idea how to record music no record deal no idea about anything to do with the industry. ( still don’t ) I was just writing loads and guessing my way through the production and sending music to whoever would listen. Never would I think that one of my favourite artists would hear it and then sample it. Never give up on your dreams!
