And then I hopped on a plane on Saturday morning—missing the SpelHouse tailgate, my favorite annual event of all time—to fly to LA to bring Dear Culture to Los Angeles for theGrio ICON Awards, which were nothing short of amazing. And I’m not required to say that, I was actually impressed and proud to be part of such an amazing event. I got tuxedo-fly and chopped it up with various celebs, got some Blackfessions and funny stories and some amazing pictures for the ‘gram.
