Passion. What does this word mean to you? To me it means having an unwavering devotion towards something, but not because other people think it’s cool, but because you think it’s cool. As I get older I find myself being attracted to, and gravitating towards, people who are passionate about things. This doesn’t have to be things I’m particularly interested in either, and honestly, I prefer it isn’t. I’ve become so fascinated by hearing what other people care about, because I think it’s rare. How many of us minimize our care for something because we’re worried about what other people think about it? I wish we would go back to the times when we were kids and it was cool to care. It’s pretty obvious for me, but my passion is my health. In the past couple years I’ve realized that the only way I can even attempt to do all the other things I love to do, and do it with the people I love, I’ll have to be healthy. My health became a cornerstone of what I’ve built my life on and it’s developed into a passion for me. Every single second of my day I think about it. Do you have something that you think about every single second? Something that you could get emotional going into detail talking to someone about? I suggest you look for one, or dive into the one that you’ve been holding back from, because you now it’s there. My life got just a little better once I did that for myself.
