“ I gave birth but I didn’t give life because the doctors failed me”
It hurts so bad to lose a child in general, but having to go through labor - feeling the contractions, getting an epidural... just to give birth to a full term still born.
Pt.1
>> So many things were done wrong that could’ve been prevented. What I’m about to talk about is just a short sum of what this mother dealt with throughout her pregnancy.
This mother was not informed by her doctor that she was pregnant with twins until one of the babies died at 10 weeks old. Even though one of the babies was completely healthy, the doctor told her that she still had time to abort both babies.
Given that she refused to abort, her doctor decided to drop her as a patient and sent her to a “high risk” clinic instead.
With the unfortunate passing of one of her twins she was blessed to continue her pregnancy and carry her baby boy the full 39 weeks. Around that time she felt something was wrong and when she was admitted into the hospital they told her the baby’s heart rate was dropping. The doctor had mentioned to her that if this continued she would have to get a C-section which she was willing to do if it would save her baby. They kept her in the hospital for 4 days and although the baby’s heart rate was yet to be at a steady pace they sent her home. A few days after being discharged she stopped feeling the baby’s movement so she went back to the hospital and was given the heartbreaking news of her baby passing away. As if that wasn’t already tough to deal with, the hospital then told her that she had FIVE days after the baby was delivered to come up with $5k for the funeral arrangements. She didn’t have 5k immediately at her reach so she asked the doctor if she could deliver her baby this week instead of last week.....(TO BE CONTINUED IN THE COMMENTS)
