The @dysonhair Airwrap has been a tool I’ve had my eye on since it came out, however, the price tag isn’t for the faint of heart. . . . . . After watching endless tutorials, speaking to my hairdresser, trial and error, I can confirm it is absolutely worth every penny (especially when broken down per use and attachments). Here are my main takeaways: . . . Less damage: while the Airwrap has a heating element, it primarily uses air, the Coanda effect - an aerodynamic phenomenon that curves hair, which is less damaging to your hair!! Arrows: the barrels have arrows on them allowing you to choose the direction of the airflow (which you want to be directed away from your face). This comes in handy when curling your hair, ultimately making this process quicker and easier. Cold shot: just before releasing the curl, hit it with a cold shot of air to help set it! THIS is a game changer because the feature is easy to get to when doing your hair! Saving money: on blowouts, on trims, on damage remedy, multiple tools etc. While the price tag is up there, this baby can do it all! Time: it takes me < 20 minutes from blow dry to blowout / curl!
