Here I am in a photography studio in Times Square, thinking about how far I’ve come since May 2020, when Frank and I decided to live life differently — moving across the country not once, but twice in just eight months. It felt like a wild leap of faith, and at times, like a huge mistake. Then cancer happened, and everything shifted yet again. Now standing here as a survivor, I’m grateful for the journey we’ve taken, because somehow it’s all come full circle. A big thank you to @32degreesofficial for supporting @thrivingbeyondbreastcancer in such a personal way. There are so many well known nonprofits with long histories and large campaigns, so having your support as a smaller organization means the world to us. NYC has always felt like a second home. Over the years, friends and coworkers have become like family. And while work will always be something that gets you out of bed, I’m deeply thankful for the people who’ve stood by me through every twist and turn. Stay tuned for an exciting BCAM to come! 💖
