Thank you @nick_knight Calum and @showstudio for asking me to be a part of this amazing project. Bodies of Knowledge: Challenging how the body has been represented and imagined in visual culture and fashion image-making, over 50 international contributors across creative fields were invited to create short films in response to physical and metaphysical attributes of the human body, creating a constellation of alternative knowledge systems. In my film “EVE PROJECT 003” I explore the stomach. This films focus was to convey the intrinsic connection between the spiritual sense and the gut in African Diasporic cultural and religious practices and highlight the sacral energy that emits from bodies capable of conceiving life. There is a constant energy flow emitting from our gut, and in the perspective of spirit having dominion over our bodies, explore what role the stomach plays.
