✨ Drawing on Van Gogh’s experiences as a migrant in London, artist Harold Offeh has created a new work for Van Gogh House London. 👇 @vangoghlondon was home to the Post-impressionist painter from 1873-1874. And his time in London had a huge impact on the art he produced in later life. The sculpture installation by @harold_offeh, We Came Here, draws on ideas of migration, place and lived history. Offeh investigated Lambeth Archives, Black Cultural Archives and other historical sources researching the history of immigration since Van Gogh left over a century ago.
