With @afgeunion, @reprashida, @nffe_union, over 60 congressional cosponsors, and federal workers who were unjustly targeted and fired by DOGE, I introduced the MERIT Act today. Musk, Trump, and DOGE have fired more than 30,000 federal workers—people who make sure our food is safe, our air is clean, our airports are operational. Our bill would reinstate those crucial workers and provide back pay for their wrongful firings. We’re out here because we give a damn about workers and our country.
