A coastal winter wedding at an iconic seaside venue. I photographed my dear friend’s wedding yesterday, just after the solstice. A cold but bright day by the sea, with clear winter light and a sunset that cast pink skies behind the pier. Anna wore a bejewelled Jenny Packham gown with a matching hairpiece, and a feathered jacket, both found new on Marketplace. Her bouquet was made by hand using fresh roses bought locally and her good friend styled her hair. The ceremony and celebrations took place in an old coastal cinema, and the lovely event manager told me that for a short time, Screen 1 would be empty and available for a few photographs. Quite apt seeing as Jody is in the film industry! An intimate wedding, thoughtfully put together, and a fitting way to close my 2025 season. Congratulations Anna and Jody.
