the importance of pause. my tired and joy-filled body is slowing down from the year and catching up with unprocessed emotions I didn’t dedicate time to process. I’ve been reflecting a lot more lately and came across this passage from @dirtbagdarling that says, “I’ve learned and lost. Moved elegantly and stumbled. Excelled and failed mightily. Loved, been loved and had some fall out of love with me. I believe this is how we come to see the world. Not through pixels or print but through what we decide to notice amidst a brutal and beautiful life.” I couldn’t agree more. Life is so beautifully layered. And ultimately I just want to keep seeing the light in it all. It’s not perfect, but its good. Shot by the ever so talented @cdane 🤍
