I’m starting a new series called Not So Woo Woo—where I share tools that might seem a little “out there,” but have actually been used for centuries to support healing, clarity, and connection. Not gonna lie, when I first saw a healer using a pendulum I was so skeptical. I thought, they’re definitely just making it turn. But the more I watched, the more I realized how it was actually moving on its own—and how it was helping me understand things about myself I didn’t even know. That curiosity led me to try it for myself. It took me about two weeks of practice before I felt truly connected, and now, six years later, it’s one of my favorite tools. Pendulums have been around for thousands of years. Healers, midwives, and even doctors once used them to access the body’s natural wisdom. Ancient cultures believed they could help us connect to the unseen energy that surrounds us, and pendulum dowsing was even used to find water, minerals, and missing people. For me, pendulums are a mirror for intuition. They reflect the answers we already carry inside. My favorite way to use one is by testing the energy of different foods and supplements, or asking yes/no questions when I feel confused or disconnected. Using a pendulum is a practice. It can take time to learn how to connect with it, to quiet the mind, and to trust the subtle movements. The more you practice, the clearer the guidance becomes. Sometimes the most “woo” tools are simply reminders that our bodies and intuition are wise beyond measure. Would you try working with a pendulum? #woowoo #spirtualpractice #pendulumreading #pendulum #intuition
