Mountain sport families tend to be super close; you have to trust each other with your lives and there’s that whole zero privacy on the glacier/wall sitch. A year ago I went to a crevasse rescue camp. I begged the universe to have there be at least one woman and to please send me a tentmate who was kind, fun, secure and had social skills.
