MEET THE COHORT // We are so excited to annouce the 2022 Compose cohort! We recognize the dire need for intentional space to empower, equip and enable voices of change, particularly voices that have historically been silenced and contemporarily continue to be siloed. We are so honored and excited to be able to create a space just for that and share in this experience with y’all. With overall 100 applications submitted by brilliant self-identifying women of color from around the country, with the help of an incredible selection committee we selected 10 voices to make up our inaugural cohort. This is a cohort of screenwriters, authors, journalists, archival and multimedia storytellers telling transformative stories and we are so excited to equip them with resources, cultivate community and be a part of their creative process to build a more equitable future, through story.
