So terribly sad to say goodbye to the wonderful Queen Elizabeth II. She was such a constant presence in our lives, and the most inspiring leader. When I met her, I was amazed by her kindness and her brilliant sense of humour. She will be missed by so many, so deeply. We never normally have the news on in front of our children, but today is a moment in history where I sat them down to watch it. Through this moment I’m telling the kids lots of stories about the Queen’s extraordinary life. Thinking of the Royal Family and everyone who’s lives were touched by her. Queen Elizabeth II, thank you for your lifetime of service.
