Looking back to look ahead to our next round of fertility treatments. 🥲 Tonight we unite with thousands of others by lighting a candle to remember the babies who left us far too soon. 🕯 #waveoflight It’s a very surreal feeling to know we could still be pregnant and yet here we are planning the next IUI, not knowing when we’ll see 2 positive lines on a test again. 🥺 If you’re struggling during this time, @tommys offers support and advice. We’re trying our best to keep our heads up and learn from our last IUI. These include: 1. I’m (Megan) going to have Valium on the day of the IUI to see if it helps with the immense pain from the speculum. 2. I’m also trying hypnotherapy by the wonderful @maureenkiely_fertility to help during the IUI. 3. I’m being prescribed progesterone after asking for it (wasn’t given it after the first one... annoyingly!) 4. Decided to rest a lot more during this next two week wait (including turning down some fun events in London, which is hard as we have FOMO & we know I shouldn’t sit around doing completely nothing but we’re not going to risk it if that makes sense). 5. Going to try be less stressed! I Got to be a lot more chilled this time! (Easier said than done ha!) Any suggestions that you found helped, please let me know! 🙏
