A love letter Sitting in gratitude today and reflecting on the importance of love and acceptance... of myself. Specifically, my body. As a transgender and non-binary person, I've struggled with body image issues my whole life. Whether I was navigating an identity that felt at odds with what was on the inside vs. what was on the outside or just experiencing cultural beauty standards that did not include someone who looked like me. It has been a journey to standing fully in my body with pride and courage. So, to my body... in the face of all things: including health issues and simply walking in the world I choose you and I love you.
