Let's not get it twisted: I'm a church kid through and through. The #Blackchurch raised me and I wouldn't be who I am without it. And at the same time, the theology of the church kept me from living in my fullness as it fundamentally limited the fullness of God. I am on a mission to make Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, for folks that God ain't make straight. So to be able to experience the fullness of me in a church environment and feel not only God's love, but the love of the church at the same time? That touched my heart in ways I didn't know I needed.
