It's sad to say goodbye to Murder by Death. But I guess all good things must end, and this amazing band has had a good long run of 25 years -- formed in Bloomington, Indiana, and 2000 and based in Louisville, Kentucky, for a good long time. Last night's show at Warsaw was the first time I'd seen them live since 2022. They were slated to headline the fantastic Russian Recording 20th anniversary show in Bloomington I attended in 2023, but bad weather kept them away. 🙁 But in the spirit of the Long Goodbye, last night was the first of three farewell shows for me. Seeing them in a couple of weeks in Philadelphia, and then the Louisville finale in November. So I'm doing my best to give them a proper send off.
