In 1984, during Paris Fashion Week, my friend Yasmin introduced me to her new boyfriend. His name was Simon Le Bon. The following year Simon and Yasmin were married. Over the years my friendship with Simon has grown and grown. We often drove to Old Trafford for Manchester United Football matches together. Christmas at the Le Bon family house. He and Yasmin welcomed my daughter, Aiden and me into their family. Simon has always been there for me. When I launched my label in Japan, Simon was a huge supporter. He modeled in my Paris show in 1997 (2nd and 3rd photos). He visited my shop in Tokyo and modeled my collection for editorial (4th and 5th photos). Simon is wickedly funny, incredibly intelligent, kind, generous and the most amazing friend and family man. Oh, and, he is also a pretty good singer and musician.
