today we celebrate earth day, but we live on this planet everyday. it's everything we know. everyday is a day to honor this home we get to occupy, explore, feel, taste, and enjoy. It's literally the only home we have. We came from this mother who gives birth to all of life, Gaea, and she not only gave us life, but she provides us with everything we need to survive. money is a value we put on paper or a screen to organize our exchanges of goods between each other, but the real things that are actually VALUABLE on this planet is the air we breathe, the water we drink and the food that we eat. and if no one told you, the government doesn't supply you those things; they take it from Gaea, put it in a bottle and sell it to you. these resources belong to all of us. this is our home. the one we collectively live on together. so tell me earth neighbor, what have you done so far to honor our planet? and if you haven't yet, today is a great day to start. some examples may be using glass bottles or wax bags over plastic, not leaving a trace where you go (cleaning up your trash) proper recycling, composting, growing your own food, canceling all paper junk mail, and if you can't buy an electric car yet are you responsible about when/where you drive? do you have any other ideas about how to live more green?
