When people ask me how it felt to start therapy for my #perinatalmoodandanxietydisorders
I admit I was afraid to start therapy because I knew my childhood experiences were showing up in my motherhood journey. There is a lot of trauma from my childhood that I am afraid to relive but doing so has allowed me to heal.
I’m lucky that my therapist is a recommended provider on @postpartumsupportinternational and has understood me from day 1. I feel heard, validated and understood. If you are wanting to join me on the road to recovery I highly recommend therapy and PSI.
