On this day, and many in between, I remember the horror that was brought down on our great city and country. I also am reminded of what a brave, courageous, selfless brother I have. As a member of the Hauppauge fire company 1 he responded to the search and rescue and proceeded to work at Ground Zero to help recover those lost on that horrible day. May we never forget that tragic day and those we lost. And let us also be very grateful for our brave firefighters that put our safety before their own. God bless America
