Last month, I had the pleasure of speaking on a panel to help young military service members think about their transition from service to the “real world.” I consider myself so lucky and blessed to be at a stage in my life to be sitting on stage in front of a community that has meant so much to me. I remember sitting in the stands just as they were, and even just an hour of someone’s time made such a difference in my perspective.
